Hari ini diumumkan lowongan kerja dari kapal pesiar Holland America Line di dua harian terkemuka, Kompas dan JawaPos. Isi pengumuman tersebut berbeda. Yang pertama untuk wanita saja, sedangkan yang kedua untuk pria dan wanita. Berikut ini kutipan dari kedua pengumuman tersebut.

Has D1 education in hotel school
Female waitress with at least 1 year of qualified international restaurant, or minimum 4 star hotel experience
Minimum height of 158 cm, with ideal weight and age between 20-32 years old
Guest service oriented
Srong organizational & communication English skills
Ability to multi-task and handle constantly changing priorities
Ability to work in culturally diverse environment

Assistant Steward Lido (code: ASL 0509)
Male, D1 hotel education or higher, with minimum 6 months experience (job training included) or below D1, a minimum 1 year experience is required (job training included) as a restaurant waiter at qualified restaurant (min. 3 star level)

Foreman Laundry (leading to Laundry Master) (code: FLM 0509)
Has at least 1 year experience in supervisory level of laundry and dry cleaning operation (hotel, hospital, commercial laundry, etc.)
Good knowledge of equipment in laundry/dry cleaning

HouseKeeping / Laundry – General Purpose Attendant (code: HKL 0509)
Has at least 6 months experience (job training included) in housekeeping department or professional laundry (i.e. Room Boy, Laundryman or Public Area Attendant)

Clerk Junior (code: CLJ 0509)
Has Diploma IV in Port and Shipping Management Studies (Tata Laksana) or Bachelor Degree (S1) in accounting or related studies
Has at least 1 year working experience and well-persed with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Junior Engineer (code: JE 0509)
Computer literate
Has at least 1 year contract in the same position on foreign going ship, or has experience as Engineer Cadet from the big ship.
Has certificate of Competency Engineer Officer Class III (ATT III), and its endorsement
Has valid STCW-95 certificates.

Sailor AB (code SAB 0509)
Has at least 1 year contract as Sailor AB

Sailor OS (code: SOS 0509) and Wiper (WPR 0509)
Has at least 6 months working experience as Sailor or Wiper on vessel

General Requirements ASL, FLM. HKL, CLJ, JE, SAB, SOS, WPR:
Good command of English
Minimum senior High School graduate except for CLJ
Physically & mentally fit, min. height 160cam (male) and 156 (female GPA HK)
Age between 19-35 years old (ASL, HKL, CLJ & No age limit for FLM, it will be at our discretion).
Having BST certiicate for FLM, JE, SAB, SOS & WPR.

Application should include CV, 4 pieces of recent color photograph size 4x6cm, Letter of good conduct from local police, Copy of educational diploma(s) and Reference letter(s) from previous employer(s)
